  The gorilla and the rabbit: a tale of friendship at the Erie Zoo

  

  Erie Zoo Officials introduced a pet rabbit into an enclosure of a 46 year old Gorilla Named Sam to help with the recent death of its long time spouse, upon arrival the Gorilla picked up the rabbit and was quoted to have announced “ Duuu what a cute little bunny rabbit, just what I always wanted. I will name him George and I will hug him and pet him and squeeze him and pat him and pet him and caress him…”
